Rami Shabiro Engineering, Building and Investments

רמי שבירו הנדסה בנייה והשקעות

Rami Shabiro Engineering, Building and Investments is the main company of the private Shabiro group, owned by Rami and Ronit Shabiro. With Reisdor Initiatives and T. Sorrento it won Eshkol lot 302 in the tender published 2 December 2024, for about ₪87.2M plus about ₪75.7M development. The design plan approved on 4 March 2026 is a 40-storey tower combining a business hotel and 19 office floors, joined to a 6-storey office building, by Yaski Mor Sivan Architects; neither the hotel room count nor an operator has been confirmed. With Chen & Itai Gindi it lost an appeal against the Central district plan in February 2025.

Its 92-unit joint project with Chen & Itai Gindi (4.7 dunams, won 2021 for ₪469M including VAT) is on Gush HaGadol land that Globes describes as 'very close to' Sde Dov, not on a lot in the three Sde Dov complexes. Not Shapir (Shapir Engineering and Shapir Housing), which holds North lot 3207; the names are close in English.

What a buyer from abroad should know

Shabiro's Sde Dov page (August 2026) is a Hebrew stub in its 'future projects' category, with an uncaptioned image gallery and a contact form. The approved design, the hotel floors and the partners are described only in Hebrew municipal and press sources. No hotel operator has been named.

On the record

Published facts a buyer would want before signing. Each carries its source.

Class action over Mechir LaMishtaken homes declined

Two buyers in Mechir LaMishtaken projects in Rosh HaAyin asked to certify a class action against Rami Shabiro and its sister company Dor-El, alleging homes delivered below the tender specification and excess charges. The district court declined in 2025, ruling that such claims must be pursued individually under the Sale (Apartments) Law.

How many hotel rooms will lot 302 have?
