**PFAS**

Los compuestos PFAS son el legado de décadas de espuma antiincendios de aeropuerto. El Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y la Autoridad de Tierras de Israel anunciaron hallazgos en el acuífero en febrero de 2026, abrieron una vía rápida de descontaminación y actualizaron los umbrales nacionales en marzo de 2026. Algunas parcelas resultaron más limpias que otras; la prensa trató un terreno limpio como una ventaja comercial, y la primera demanda de un comprador por contaminación se presentó en agosto de 2026.
